I got this activity mat when my son was 8 weeks old. He loves it. The music isn't too loud nor the lights too bright. The animals/design of the mat is adorable too. He loves that monkey!! My son just turned 4 mos and he now grabs the toys to hear them rattle and he pushes off the big giraffe with his feet to reach things. The mirror is a big hit too. I recently discovered that Fisher Price has a great website that you can order replacement parts for cheap! The entire bag of toys that comes on this activity mat are $9 to replace. I love it! Overall, I definitely recommend this product. It is a little pricey and I had a hard time breaking down the top part to take with us on vacation but I think the good far outweighs the bad.
