I purchased this for my sister, who recently gave birth to a boy. He is now six months old and has enjoyed since he was two months old. The toys are at different heights and give him something new to reach for as he grows. The sounds are fantastic, very relaxing to both adults and babies, and it's nice that they last for about 20 minutes, so we don't have to continuously reset things when we are visiting ourselves.
