There are several advantages to these disposable bottles. They are sturdy and work well. They are BPA and phthalate-free, and are recyclable. And they come sterilized. But there are some issues. The main reason I wanted to try these is so that I could keep a sterilized bottle in each of my cars and in my cabinet in case of emergency, and I thought they would be individually wrapped. But they come in two sets of 5, and once you open each package, you are expected to use them within a week which defeats the purpose of keeping them on hand for emergencies.
